Hi Jason, Previously, we follow 'SKB_보급형UHD_HDMI_Audo_출력_시나리오_v1.0.xlsx' to modify audio_hw.c only for HDMI mute/unmute. But Audio HAL (audio_hw.c) doesn't include API to set BT mute. I think TVS could use Android Framework API to set BT mute directly. |

hi kerwin Your comment may make an argument with TVS. "I think TVS could use Android Framework API to set BT mute directly. " If TVS have to modify it directly, you have to give some reason. I understand we don't have API function in audio_hw.c. so you have to made it with a time. when TVS give a command to Driver, driver have to work properly. please give your plan or you give a reason to request it to TVstorm. Tvstorm is used on many box with same MW. So they don't want to make a special item for only Eagle box. Thanks. |

Hi Jason, Is this feature needed only for AOSP model ? How about ATV model ? We have to check if there is any side-effect on CTS. BTW, we are doing feasibility study to support this feature and will keep you updated once we have a result. Thanks ! |

hi Kerwin This issue come from AOSP. But as you know it, ATV model also need to update as UI 5.1.3. So it guess after update it later, It may be a same situation in BFX-AT100-UI5.1.3. This mechanism is related to UI5.1.2 upper version. please refer to it. Thanks. |

Hi jason, I push tvs library to vendor/skb/prebuilts/tvstorm_btv-middleware/mmf and rebuild a new fw of BFX-UH200. I use this fw and reproduce this issue. But i can not reproduce in my side. The following steps are my test process. 1. power on 2. Eagle box stay in playing the first video after booting. 3. At this time,the earphone output of my RCU can hear sound. 3. I try to do for limitation for child watching via BtvPlus app in my mobile phone. 4. At this time,Eagle box show child limitation page on TV Screen. 5. And the earphone output of RCU can not hear sound. Please help ask TVS for the detailed test process or provides us with a video of the testing process for reference. |

Hi jason , i attached my test library in this mantis. Please send to TVS to verify this issue. You can use the following command to push test library to Box. command: adb push audio.a2dp.default.so /system/lib/hw And also can use the following command to check mute/unmute function. command: logcat -v time -s bt_a2dp_hw |

hi jerry I toss some comment from TVS. When show a pop-up for Child mute on new HomeUI, player is stopped. so That is why you don't reproduce in your side. so they recommend with using TestApp for reproducing an issue. if you use with test app, you can sound via BT in a pop-up for child limitation on TV. 0. please use upper library.(From TVstorm) 1. please Install Test app adb install –r tvsystemservicetest-debug.apk 2. Execute Test apps adb shell am start -n com.tvstorm.android.systemframework.test/.TVSystemTestActivity 3. Test app -> AudioSetting menu 4. select for child muted in audioSetting in TestApps 5. Return to live or VOD via a previous key. Thanks |
